Six men arrested on drug charges in Ravena
COEYMANS, N.Y. -- Coeymans police made several drug arrests in Ravena on Tuesday.
Officers responded to a call from a Ravena woman who said there was a man at her door and she was worried for her safety. Police said James Lee Williams of Albany was interviewed and found to be in possession of cocaine and marijuana. He was arrested and sent to the Albany County Correctional Facility on $15,000 bail. Police are still investigating why he was at the woman's home.
Also on Tuesday, Coeymans police executed a search warrant on a suspected drug house on Main Street in Ravena.
Five men were detained and later arrested after a search of the apartment revealed controlled substances, a large quantity of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia commonly used with the distribution of drugs.
Dylan Vega, James Madden, Alfred Tesch, Anthony Fox and Anthony Dwy are charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and criminal possession of marijuana. They were arraigned and sent to the Albany County Correction Facility on $25,000 bail.
More arrests are expected.
