NEW YORK STATE -- Congressman Chris Gibson is weighing in on recovery efforts for the communities hit hard by the recent storms.

Gibson said he has spent the past several days touring his district and getting a firsthand look at all the damage by talking to families and small businesses hurt by the storms.

“I'm now involved leading a bipartisan effort in the congress to make sure that the aid from FEMA continues to flow and I'm confident that will continue to be the case. This is going to take our best effort at the federal, state, county, and local level. Neighbors helping neighbors as well and we're going to come back. We're going to rebuild and it's going to be stronger than ever,” Gibson said.
