ALBANY COUNTY, N.Y. -- 19 people are arrested in Albany County for selling alcohol to minors. The Albany County Sheriff's office says a joint investigation was conducted last Thursday.
According to deputies, officers were broken up into three groups within their region and used three 20-year-old underage agents to conduct the sting.
The 19 employees arrested worked at stores throughout Albany, Cohoes, and Guilderland.
Each person arrested was charged with two misdemeanors: unlawfully dealing with a minor and prohibited sale of alcohol to a minor. They were also issued a ticket to appear in the court where their arrest took place.
