Time Warner Cable to carry NFL Network
UNITED STATES -- Time Warner Cable customers and NFL fans will be able to enjoy more football this season. An agreement has been finalized that will allow Time Warner Cable to carry the NFL Network and NFL RedZone.
According to Time Warner Cable and NFL Network, TWC subscribers will begin to see both channels starting this Sunday, September 23rd.
The NFL network this year expanded from showing weekly regular season games from only the second half of the season to the full season. Thursday night's New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers game was broadcast on the network.
After the agreement was announced, Time Warner Cable released a statement that said, in part, “The additional games this year and the proven appeal of NFL RedZone will certainly prove to be a draw for our customers. We look forward to a long and productive relationship with the NFL.”
Time Warner Cable is the parent company of YNN.
