TROY, N.Y. -- Tuesday was day three of the Adrian Thomas murder trial in Rensselaer County Court. Thomas is accused of killing his 4-month-old son last September by repeatedly throwing him on a mattress and shaking him.
Prosecutors said Thomas was upset after losing his job and that he took his frustration out on his child.
On Tuesday, jurors watched parts of a nine-hour taped confession.
Thomas' defense team said he was pressured by police to make a false confession and that the baby really died of an unrelated medical condition.
