Two arrested in animal cruelty case
EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y. -- Police make two arrests in an animal cruelty case. State police in Brunswick found two dogs in bad shape without food or water at a vacant home on Logs Woods Road in Pittstown.
Troopers say John and Brandy Dobert had moved out a few weeks before and abandoned the dogs.
Police found the Doberts on Hampton Avenue in East Greenbush. They're charged with multiple counts of animal cruelty.
The dogs are in the care of Brunswick Animal Control.
