TROY, N.Y. -- After hours of deliberation, jurors in the Adrian Thomas murder trial wrapped up Wednesday night without reaching a verdict. Jurors are set to resume discussions this morning to decide whether Thomas is guilty of killing his infant son.
The jury started deliberating late Wednesday afternoon following closing arguments during which the prosecution argued the baby died after Thomas threw him down onto a bed or crib several times last September, while the defense argued the child died of infection.
So far, the jury has had four requests for the judge, including reviewing the tape of police interrogating Thomas and reviewing court testimony.
