CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. -- Harriman has a plan. The Columbia BBL Development group has been picked to redevelop part of the sprawling Harriman State Office Campus.

The Campus' board of directors voted unanimously Monday for the Columbia plan. The state wants to turn about 140 acres of the 330 acre office park into a technology and research campus.

Campus President Peter Wohl said in a statement, "The team's proposal was one that matched the criteria and requirements of the RFP and fit our vision for the Campus."

Wohl says Columbia's plan allows for development now, even with a bad economy and the need for State investment.
