SCHENECTADY COUNTY, N.Y. -- Niskayuna Police are investigating a series of home burglaries. They say four single family homes were broken into and robbed in the Old Niskayuna neighborhood.

Two houses off of Rosendale Road were also hit. Police say the robbers got in through unlocked windows and doors. They made off with laptops, TVs, jewelry, video game equipment, and digital cameras.

Police are urging residents in Niskayuna to keep their windows and doors locked, and if possible, keep the outside of their homes well lit at night.
