SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Schenectady Police have made an arrest in a murder case. Police have charged Raymond Van Clief, 27, of Kentucky, with second degree murder.

Investigators say Van Clief shot and killed Elijah Trainer, 29, of Schenectady, Wednesday night just after 5 p.m. in front of Trainer's house on Paige Street. When police arrived at the scene, they found Trainer shot several times. He was then taken to Ellis Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators say the shooting followed some sort of argument in front of the home.
