Two killed in Schaghticoke crash
Two young people have died following a crash in the Town of Schaghticoke. The initial police report shows that speed was a factor in the crash. Our Solomon Syed joined us from Schaghticoke with the very latest.

SCHAGHTICOKE, N.Y. -- State Police are investigating a double fatal crash on Route 40 in Schaghticoke. It happened around noon on Thursday.
State Police said Kevin Okonski, 20, was driving a two-seater Honda del Sol at a high rate of speed and passing other cars illegally when he over-corrected, lost control and hit a pickup truck in the oncoming lane.
Okonski and his passenger, Emma Brenenstuhl, 19, were killed. They were both from Johnsonville.
The driver of the pickup truck, Mark Clark, 57, of Buskirk, was taken to Albany Medical Center with minor injuries.
