SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Schenectady police are investigating a suspicious death that has now been ruled a homicide.

Police responded to 1019 Wendell Avenue on Monday for a report of an unresponsive male. They discovered the body of a 41-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy was performed and the death was ruled a homicide, but the cause of death and the victim's name are not being released at this time.
