SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- A Schenectady teen has been indicted on charges in connection with two shootings near Jerry Burrell Park in Schenectady earlier this summer.

Kirel Prince, 17, was indicted for two counts of second-degree attempted murder, two counts of first-degree assault and four counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Prince was arrested in July for the shootings of Nasjarah Pulliam, 11, and his brother, Shaune Daniels, 18, on June 23. Pulliam was struck in the head, and Daniels was shot in the back.

Prince is scheduled to be arraigned later this week.
