SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- A teen is dead following an afternoon shooting in Schenectady. Police responded to calls in the area of Watt and Tremont Streets where they found Terrill Reese, 18, shot to death.

He was shot in the chest. Police aren't saying if there is a connection between Friday's shooting in front of Bombers on State Street.

They are currently searching for a shooter based on witnesses’ reports.

"There was a vehicle reported leaving the scene we have not confirmed the identity of the vehicle. In terms of witnesses the investigation is ongoing, that’s pretty much what we have at this time,” said Adriel Linyear, Schenectady Police Department.

Police are still investigating and continue to search for a shooter.
