Teen caught with loaded gun at Crossgates Mall
GUILDERLAND, N.Y. -- An Albany teenager is in jail after police say he brought a loaded shotgun to Crossgates Mall this past Friday.
Guilderland Police arrested Marcelle Chandler, 16, after responding to the mall for a shoplifting call. They say Chandler had the gun inside a backpack and never made any threats to anyone.
He is charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon and petit larceny and is being held in Albany County Correctional Facility.
