COLONIE, N.Y. -- Police have arrested a Colonie couple after they say the pair left their two children in a parked car outside a tavern on Albany Shaker Road while they went in to drink.

Police say Douglas and Sheryl Lindsey were both issued appearance tickets and charged with child endangerment. Police say a repairman near the establishment heard babies crying in the car and called police. Police then found their 15-month-old and 19-month-old children in the car.

The Lindseys will be in court next week
