Missing three-year-old found safe
ALBANY, N.Y. -- A three-year-old Albany boy who was missing for several hours Tuesday morning has been found safe.

Dymere Johnson was last seen at 8:10 a.m. at his house on Park Avenue. Police said his older brother woke up and couldn't find the boy and reported him missing.

Police went door to door canvassing the neighborhood looking for him and searched from a helicopter.

Dymere was found with a female relative about a block away from his home.

Albany resident Lauren Harris said, "I turned and looked into the backseat and I see a boy in grey shirt, red shorts. I said, who are you in relation to this kid? And she said, godmother. And I said, you know all this up in the air is they're looking for him. She said, well I told someone that I was taking him."

Police said the relative had planned to take the boy out, but a miscommunication led to the scare.
