ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany International Airport is set to get some new scanners for security checkpoints.
TSA officials say Albany is slated to receive the new scanners, but exactly how many isn't clear. We also don't know exactly when the new scanners would be in place.
The new body imaging machines show an outline image of travelers rather than more specific detailed images. They are supposed to be less intrusive than other scanners.
