TROY, N.Y. -- A man accidentally drove into the front windows of the Hoosick Street Wine Cellar in Troy. It happened at 260 Hoosick Street around 10:45 a.m. Monday.
Police say the driver, who was parked in the lot, stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal, driving the car into the store windows. Police say there was damage to the glass and framework of the windows of the store. They also say the crash also destroyed a large amount of product inside the store.
No one was injured, but the driver was taken to Samaritan Hospital to be checked out. He was not ticketed.
