ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany police say two shootings that happened within minutes of each other on South Pearl Street are likely connected. Police responded to the Simply Fish and Jazz restaurant early Sunday morning for a report of a 20-year-old man that had been shot in the stomach. Investigators say the man limped out of the restaurant after he was shot, and found someone to drive him to the hospital.
Police say about 15 minutes later, another man who had just left the same restaurant, was shot in the stomach. He was found on the sidewalk just down the street.
No arrests have been made. Both men are expected to survive.
