ALBANY, N.Y. -- A man has pleaded guilty to murder and robbery charges.

According to Albany County District Attorney David Soares, last December, Mark Richardson, 53, entered the Ogden Mill Apartments in the City of Cohoes. The DA says Richardson assaulted and robbed two people at the apartment complex. One of the victims died from his injuries.

Soares said, "He plead guilty today to murder as well as robbery. He would be sentenced on those two accounts. The murder, 20 to life. The robbery, 10 years. He will end up doing 30 years to life."

Richardson is scheduled to be sentenced in July. A manager at Ogden Mill Apartments declined to comment on the indictment.
