ALBANY, N.Y. -- Philadelphia Eagle and Albany Academy standout Dion Lewis did not visit a Boys and Girls summer camp today. His appearance was canceled after Lewis and his brother were charged with reckless endangerment over the weekend.
Police say they were banging on the doors of the Hampton Inn Hotel, where Lewis was staying, after 4 a.m. Sunday. The doors were locked, as hotel signs explained, so only guests could enter.
Police say that's when they pulled the fire alarm, which led to both men being charged with falsely reporting a fire, which is a felony. Police say the men had been drinking.
Dion was arraigned and released, while his brother, Lamar, was sent to the Albany County Jail without bail due to a previous criminal record.
