COLONIE, N.Y. -- A retired State Police investigator accidentally shot himself at Colonie Center.

Colonie police said the 56-year-old Ballston Spa man was trying on clothes in the Sears dressing room when his gun went off.

He was taken to Albany Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the knee.

No one else was hurt.
