ALBANY, N.Y -- An Albany man has died from injuries after being hit by a pickup truck in Albany.

Gerald Bruner, 57, was hit Wednesday morning at the intersection of Broadway and Erie Street. Bruner was taken to Albany Medical Center. Police say he died Thursday afternoon.

Police say the driver of the truck that hit Bruner, Robert Dames, 36, is being cooperative with their investigation. He says he was taking a left turn from Broadway onto Erie when he struck Bruner. He stopped immediately and called 911.

No charges have been filed.
