ALBANY, N.Y. -- An update to a story we brought you earlier this month. A huge group singing outside the Times Union Center in Albany actually set a world record for the most people ringing jingle bells while singing jingle bells.

According to the Albany downtown bid, recordsetter.com accepted the event. A total of 488 participated in the singing and ringing. Participants decked themselves out in festive attire and Santa himself also took part.
