SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Schenectady Police need the public's help finding a man who was in the Stanford Street area. They want to interview him about possible contact with a homicide victim.

Police would like to speak with a man who was shoveling snow in the area of Stanford Street following the snow storms on Thursday, December 27th and Saturday, December 29th. The man is described as being between the ages 20 and 40, a tall slim build between 5’9” and 6’2”. He was dressed in a dark parka coat and a hoodie.

Anyone with information should call the Schenectady Police Department's TIPS line at 788-6566.

Officers say he is not a suspect, but may have had contact with the victim, Mary Greco, 82, and others in the neighborhood. Greco was found dead by her landlord inside her Stanford Street home Tuesday. Again, this man is not a suspect in the investigation, Schenectady Police only wish to interview him.
