NISKAYUNA, N.Y. -- Soldiers of the New York Army National Guard were honored for their service in Afghanistan this weekend.
Members of the E-427th Brigade Support Battalion were honored at Niskayuna High School. The soldiers were the support team for the 2nd Battalion 108th Infantry.
In addition to honoring the soldiers, a change of command ceremony was held. 1st Lieutenant Mark Colloton, a combat veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan, has been given command of the company.
