NEW YORK STATE -- The popular TV show "American Pickers" was in Columbia and Greene counties.

The pickers actually came to the area last summer, but the show aired Monday night on the History Channel. They made stops at several places, including Cairo, Livingston and Chatham.

If you're not familiar with the show, the two hosts go around to different places, looking for bargains on antiques, which they then re-sell. Among the items they left with on their trip to Columbia and Greene counties were some old signs, an antique rocking horse and an old leather license plate.
