NASSAU, N.Y. -- An overnight crash in Nassau leaves one person dead. The crash happened just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning along route 20.

State police tell us a car crossed into the oncoming lane, hit the guardrail, and then flipped several times down an embankment. All three people inside were thrown from the car.

Troopers say Alicia Hubbard, 18, of Nassau died at the scene.

The driver, Marian Hubbard, 20, of West Sand Lake, was taken to Albany Medical Center where she is listed in serious condition. Police have charged her with DWI.

New York State Trooper Lieutenant Michael Lair said, "The investigation is trying to determine where they were coming from and the source of the alcohol. And we request that anyone who has information, who can contribute to that investigation, contact the state police at Schodack."

Another passenger Nicole Hubbard, 19, was also thrown; but, her condition is unknown at this time.

Police say, at this point, they don't know if any of the women were wearing seatbelts, but they're still investigating.
