CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. -- A woman who claimed someone tried to sexually assault her while she was jogging now faces charges herself.
According to officials she falsely reported the crime. The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office says Amy Quenzer, 50, of Clifton Park was arrested after they investigated her story.
Deputies, along with State Police, searched the AC Stevens Vischer Ferry Nature and Historic Preserve last Saturday where Quenzer said the incident happened.
After the search turned up no suspects, Quenzer was charged with falsely reporting an incident in the third degree, which is a misdemeanor.
