SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Syracuse University women's basketball team improved to 5-2 on the season with a 72-40 victory over Longwood at Manley Fieldhouse on Sunday.

Nicole Michael led five Orange players in double figures with 14 points.

The Orange return to the Dome on Tuesday when they host Lehigh.
