NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- A North Adams man has been arraigned on assault charges in Berkshire Superior Court.

Mario Babbs, 25, has been accused of stabbing a 27-year-old North Adams man on June 2nd of this year. Babbs pleaded not guilty to charges of armed assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

Babbs was sent back to Berkshire County House of Correction without bail.
