BOLTON, N.Y. -- Two people were flown to the hospital after a motorcycle crash in the North Country.

According to the Warren County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened on Friday afternoon on Lake Shore Drive in Bolton.

Police said Timothy Wood, 49 of Scotia, crossed into the opposite lane and hit a guard rail. Both Wood and his passenger, Terri Costello, 49 of Schenectady, were thrown from the embankment.

Both passengers were wearing helmets.
