FORT ANN, N.Y. -- After nearly two weeks of road work, Route 4 in Fort Ann is back open to traffic a day earlier than originally planned.
Route 4 between Kelsey Pond Lane and Route 22 had been closed since November 30th so crews could remove additional rock from the slope that was involved a rock slide that happened in October. The rock slide sent 2,000 tons of rock onto the road.
Next week, drivers will face alternating single-lane closures during daytime hours as the crews install a new guide rail.
