NEW YORK -- More ballots are counted in the race for the 46th state Senate seat.
Eight ballots were counted in Greene County with five going for Democrat Cecilia Tkaczyk and three for Republican George Amedore. That changes Amedore's lead to 35 votes.
On Friday, 90 ballots are scheduled to be opened in Ulster County. One ballot cast in Albany County is also expected to be counted Friday according to Amedore's campaign.
Some ballots in question may have no vote for the state Senate race. Still, Tkaczyk would need about two thirds of the remaining ballots to win the race.
