TROY, N.Y. -- A member of a group connected to multiple shootings in the City of Troy has been convicted of attempted murder.Shateek Lanier, 22, was originally charged with assault and criminal use of a firearm after a 17-year old was shot multiple times in the leg on 10th Street. The shooting happened back in May.
Charges were later upgraded by a grand jury.
Rensselaer County District Attorney Richard McNally says Lanier is facing 25 years in prison. He will be sentenced on March 1st.
