SCHOHARIE COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Sharon Springs School District went into a lockdown on Wednesday.
The district says the Schoharie County Sheriff's department contacted them shortly after noon and told them to go into a lockdown because of a situation at the NBT Bank in Sharon Springs.
Around 12:35 p.m., the sheriff's department advised the school to enter a lockout. The school remained in a lockout until the end of the school day.
