Local housing continues extended comeback

CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. -- The trend continues for Capital Region housing sales as they're ticking up. January saw two percent more closed sales than this time last year.

Local realtors acknowledge this isn't a huge jump, but they are happy the upward trend has continued since starting last year. They also point to a 21 percent leap in pending homes sales. The median home sales price is also up five percent.
