FISHKILL, N.Y. -- One person is dead and another is injured after a two-car crash in Dutchess County.

It happened around 10:45 p.m. Friday night on State Route 9 in Fishkill.

State Police said Christopher Hustis of Putnam County was driving in the southbound lane when his car crossed into oncoming traffic, hitting another car head on.

Hustis died at the scene.

Tatiana Selca, the driver of the other car, was taken to Saint Francis Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
